UNY is Increasingly Respected in the Indonesian Robotics Competition

Indonesia has a prestigious event in the field of robots which is promoted by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education. The event, called the Indonesian Robot Contest, is open to students all over Indonesia. During the last 3 years, Indonesia was introduced by the UNY Robot Team which has several championship achievements in the Indonesian Robot Contest.
Yogyakarta State University (UNY) Robotics Team made brilliant results in the 2018 Indonesian Robot Contest which took place at the Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta (10-13 / 07/2018), namely the first winner in the Indonesian Dance Robot Contest (KRSTI), the third winner in the Robot Contest division. Indonesian Wheeled Football (KRSBI Wheeled) and the best designs. These results also maintain the first KRSTI title achieved by UNY last year in Bandung.

As a form of appreciation for the hard work of the entire team, the Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta State University held a thanksgiving and welcoming ceremony for the entire team delegation (27/07/2018) in the KPLT hall. Herlambang Sigit Pramono, M.Cs., as the supervisor of the UNY robotics team in his report said that as many as 91 teams from various universities in Indonesia took part in this robot contest.

"UNY sent five teams in this contest, including the Maestro_Evo Team in the Indonesian ABU Robot Contest, the Mobo-Evo Team in the Indonesian Wheeled Football Robot Contest, the Gareng Punk Team in the Indonesian Fire Fighting Robot Contest, Al-'Aadiyaat Team in the Robot Football Contest. Humanoid Indonesia, and the Rosemery Team in the Indonesian Art Robot Contest, ”Herlambang explained.
Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Faculty of Engineering, YSU, Moh. Khoirudin, Ph.D., in his speech expressed his high appreciation to all student team members who have worked hard to achieve this achievement. "Then as a form of our appreciation, all teams taking courses related to robotics will be proposed to get an" A "grade, said Khoirudin.

Meanwhile, Head of Academic, Student and Information Bureau, Setyo Budi Takarina, M.Pd. Those who were also present expressed their deepest gratitude for representing the university because the robotics team with burning enthusiasm has made the institution proud.
